ESWC 2005

The fifth ESWC
This fifth conference Opening doors across Cyberspace took place in the de facto capital of Europe: Brussels. Not only Belgian delicious specialities in chocolade or beer - but also the royal hotel with the "imperial" flair of this EU-metropolis and its pleasant athmosphere - built the perfect background for our conference. Among many known faces we could welcome participants from quite a few (newly integrated) EU-countries. Intensive conference sessions were started with a city sightseeing tour und a historical expedition into empirical beer history (beer with chocolade?; trapist-beer;...) framed these educative insights. A real European passion then found its expression in a classical concert with works by Dvorak and Bruch Speakers and participants encountered a carefully crafted seminar program. Networking was written with capital letters. To bad, that we could not all move into the hotel - we were such a real ShareWare family! Thank you very much to all participants and sponsors!!!
Here are some impressions on the fifth annual European Shareware Conference, the premiere event for the European Shareware Community held in November 2005.

Testimonials
I just wanted to congratulate
for the perfect ESWC conference this
year. It has been a real pleasure to participate and there have
been
plenty of well performed presentations. Again thanks a lot for
organizing this event. I'm looking forward meeting you again next
year.

The conference was packed
with invaluable information
Andy Brice (Perfecttableplan.com)for any software author. I also really enjoyed the social
side - It made a nice break from my normal hermit-like
working life. I certainly hope to attend future conferences.
